i have always had an obsession with watches. from the very cheap to the one or two more pricey ones that i’ve purchased. my obsession started when i would just toss them in the drawer when the battery would run down because me remembering to buy a new battery was much harder than just simply buying a new watch and keep it moving. who remembers what kind of battery it takes anyway!? after while i realized i had an entire drawer full of watches for EVERY occasion imaginable.
while trolling around online for unique watches the other night, i hit gold! tired of the new plastic band craze with watches nowadays, i discovered WeWood time pieces. these are not only time pieces, they are natural art pieces. imagine wearing one of these into the office with a suit for a change.
made of 100% wood, each one just a little different from the next due to wood variants, and completely eco-friendly, these are definite eye-catchers. giving you different styles and mediums such as maple, guaiaco, red wing celtis, and my personal favorite blackwood…there is a watch for every outfit you would have. and get this when you buy one…they plant a tree! how stylishly eco responsible is that?
one thing that applies to me is WeWood utilizes wood remnants that would otherwise be tossed. who knew recyclables could be so fly?
