D2

runway / Dsquared2 Spring Summer 2012 Menswear

i love DSQUARED2…granted they have probably never made a damn thing i can fit my 6’4 frame into.    there is just something about their menswear that just stay truly “male”.  it’s rugged, layered, and while the looks are easy to put together, the finish still comes off intricate and structured.

so i’m not surprised i thoroughly enjoyed the Spring Summer 2012 runway show.  there are always 2-3 looks of theirs that i would personally wear from head to toe without changing a thing.  the main two of me were at 8:08 and 9:01 marks.  check the show out below…

sidebar:  i swear i’m gonna meet those two and convince them to do a special run of “DSQUARED2 the 6th Pwr”  (catchy name right?!) for guys over 6’1.

Francis Ellargo Pinch in Silver Sand

work / Francis Ellargo by Ne-Yo

i was reading an article that made mention of recording artist Ne-Yo having his own line of  fedoras.  after a little searching, i was able to find his Francis Ellargo line.  i find them to be quite classic and are the perfect complement to work or evening wear.

fedoras, to me, just finish off an outfit perfectly.  i wear them in the summer and will be getting my ducats up to purchase one or two of the Francis Ellargo line for fall and winter.

the price point is mid-range at $125 for all the ones i found. the only surprising thing for me was not seeing a navy blue fedora.  all the other color combinations were excellent match-up for both professional and casual wear.

hit Ne-Yo up at @NeYoCompound and tell him what you think of his line.
