well maleamorphites and maleamorphettes, when i find a product that exceeds my expectations, i MUST blog about it.

let me FIRST give major props to my sista/mentor Eclechick, for putting me on to this product.  i was reading her blog post about it and decided to give it a try.  she was right on the money with this one!  great blogs post great products, so why would i even doubt ms. eclechick?!

i purchased this product and decided to wait a few weeks before passing judgment on it.

get these two products.  granted, they are pricier than typical body cremes and body washes out there…THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY.  plus, i’ve found i use less on a daily basis.

THE BODY WASH:  i got in the shower with my “man puff” (don’t laugh!) not knowing what to expect.  i know i don’t like fragrant body washes, so immediately i found this body wash to meet that prerequisite.  there is a hint of smell, but it doesn’t last past the shower.  marketed as a mild cleanser without stripping your flesh, i knew not to expect a huge lather.  however, i was pleased that there was still a good amount of it.  i felt clean afterward, but not to the point i felt my skin drying out immediately.  after getting out the shower, i felt a light oil finish.  it was like i had applied a light oil while in the shower.  SCORE!!!

THE CALMING CREME:  so i move on the creme.  this stuff has no smell, AND I LOVE IT!  i’m a brutha that doesn’t want anything to clash with my cologne, so a fragrance-free lotion is right up my alley.  this creme is rich!  a little goes a long way.  it went on smooth and left NO greasy film.  i thought, “oh this stuff won’t last a day with me surely”.  how wrong was i?!  my arms and legs weren’t dry and itchy the entire day.  i didn’t have to reapply throughout the day.  on top of all that, i wasn’t itchy due to this dry and cold weather.
